The parking lot, located between the hostel and restaurant, was almost full once we arrived mid-afternoon. The scene at Playa Maderas was the least family-friendly of all of the beaches in Nicaragua that we visited. We were lucky to snag one of the last parking spots. We didn't keep lengthy as a result of Eli was bored watching the surfers. There isn't much sand in any respect, just rocks.

The climb isn't as unhealthy as some of the other volcanoes in the realm (extra on these later), so most people can get there with none problems.
